Plan a visit to a JIL Church!Come and be blessed! Everyone is welcome to attend JIL Church! We know going somewhere new can be nerve-wracking, so we want to make your first experience at JIL Church a great one!
JIL Canada has local churches across the country. At every location, you'll be greeted by our friendly ushering team. We'll ask you to fill out a visitors form so we can get to know you more. We want to make you feel welcome and feel at home. If you need help getting there, don't be afraid to contact us! On each location's webpage, you'll see the phone number of someone you can contact. They'll be more than willing to help you with directions, or even give you a ride. Find a location near you by clicking here. What should I expect? What is a worship service like at JIL Church?
Our services start with praise and worship, led by our worship team. After that, we hear a message about Jesus and the life, love, joy, peace, and blessing that He offers us. Our services run for about 2 hours. Before and/or after services, we usually have classes for discipleship and leadership trainings, and basic bible seminars for new JIL members. Our congregation members and leaders are mostly Filipino, but we welcome everyone! What about my kids? Child care is available at all our locations during services for children up to the age of 12. Child care for infants vary at each location. We have programs where children will learn about the bible in fun and interactive ways, like through games, arts and crafts, and music. Learn more about the Children's Network by clicking here. What should I wear? At our Sunday services, some people come dressed casually, and some people like to give their Sunday best. It's up to you! Are there services on other days of the week? If you can't attend a Sunday service, we have Life Groups meeting throughout the week in homes. In Life Group gatherings, we study the Bible, worship, pray, and fellowship together. Learn more about Life Groups by clicking here. Next StepsTake the next step in your walk with Christ!
