With anointed guest speakers Bro. Josh Palisoc, Rev. Amor Adela, Dr. Lilian Garcia, Ptr. Alex Garcia, Ptr. Ellen Crisostomo and Rev. Joey Crisostomo, 166 youths and young adults from Jesus is Lord churches across Saskatchewan and Manitoba gathered at the Queensbury Convention Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan from July 28-30 for the 2022 CYN and YAN Summit. This year's theme is "Count Me In": a declaration and wholehearted response to living their lives true to God's will and purpose. And to do so with the unconditional love, grace and mercy first demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ. For three days and two nights, delegates coming from different towns and cities, each with their circumstances and expectations, experienced the mighty move of God and the unifying power of the Holy Spirit to have the same burning desire in their hearts: to rise to the challenge and be effective ambassadors of Christ, to be counted in as a world changer, history maker, family’s keeper, nation builder, a vision doer, and to live a God-glorifying life that remains consecrated and pure before Him no matter what comes their way! By God’s grace, each delegate was blessed with their own unique testimony, for they were able to encounter God in an intimate and personal way. They received healing, revival, salvation, and deliverance. Fear and anxiety washed away, relationships reconciled, peace of mind restored, and a more profound desire to know God stirred in their hearts. It is a blessing to hear them share their stories of how the Lord transformed their lives and to see them discover their newfound passion for serving Him! Indeed, the unconditional love and the saving power of Jesus Christ far outweigh the schemes of the enemy in the lives of our youth! We offer all the honour and thanksgiving to the living God for the victory of this Youth Summit! We pray for these youths and young adults to never grow weary in pursuing God in every season, be it in their education, careers, friends and families, and to be bold in making Jesus known in their cities and respective provinces!

The 2022 Provincial Warriors Intercession Network (WIN) Summit commenced the day after the Key Turnover of our new church building, making this the very first event held at the new JIL Regina Cornerstone! The preparation already began early on with a 5-Day Prayer and One meal Fasting from January 31st until February 4th, where in every prayer item was dedicated to the victory of all the upcoming activities, as well as God’s favour and revival to be upon His people and the province of Saskatchewan. Indeed, there is power in our prayers, and we have a faithful God who honours them! What separated this year’s WIN Summit is not only that we were joined by JIL West Canada Operations Director and BC Provincial Pastor Rev. Amor Adela, Regional Director, West Coast and North Territories Ptr. Rannie Adela, and Regional Director, The Prairies Ptr. Pol Narido, but JIL churches from all over Saskatchewan such as JIL Saskatoon, JIL Yorkton, JIL Moose Jaw, and JIL North Battleford came to attend as well. Ptr. Pol led the first session with “The Power of A Praying Church” urging the JIL Saskatchewan churches to stand as a united and praying church, while Ptr. Rannie’s message “Miracles Through Faith, Consecration, and Compassion” was an inspiration to be God’s co-partners in performing miracles but it takes faith, full understanding of our vision and calling, and most importantly, a genuinely compassionate heart in order for God to effectively move through us. Last but not the least, Rev. Amor’s message “Praying In The Spirit” was an encouragement to live a life fueled by our passion to live for Christ, taking seriously our role in the kingdom work of God. To God be the glory for the messages delivered through His faithful servants! All in all, what a blessing it is to experience God’s mighty visitation! From this day onwards, may all the JIL churches in Saskatchewan remain empowered by the Holy Spirit, with prayers as the backbone of their works, strive further to become miracle-performing churches led by faith, consecration, and compassion all for the glory of the name of the Lord! Lives changed. Hearts renewed. Sins forgiven. Relationships restored.
Our Encounter with God Retreat was held on June 22nd - 23rd at the Echo Lake Bible Camp in Fort Qu’appelle, SK. We were joined by delegates not only from JIL Regina, but from JIL Saskatoon and JIL Yorkton as well. We praise God for the continuous expansion of His Kingdom here in Saskatchewan! Our speakers for this retreat were Ptr. Bong Palon (JIL Regina), Ptr. Jake Esperanza (JIL Saskatoon), Ptr. George Dela Rosa (JIL Winnipeg), as well as SK church leaders Bro. Reb Lucero, Sis. Rowena Roduta, and Sis. Joy Esperanza. With the anointing of the Holy Spirit, these speakers were able to deliver powerful messages during the sessions that truly allowed the presence of God to move and manifest in their midst. Inside the EGR sanctuary, a cross stood in the front. As it has been done in the previous EGRs, each delegate would be given a nail and they are to stick this nail at the bottom of the cross. This was done so that each delegate would be able to identify with what Jesus has done for them. This year, however, it was done with a little twist. Before sticking the nail on the cross, each delegate was asked to hold their respective nail as tightly as possible and press it against their palms as hard as they can, without inflicting any wound of injury. By doing this, the delegates were able to get a tiny glimpse of the pain Jesus went through as he fulfilled His greatest sacrifice. According to them, they were able to internalize this sacrifice on a deeper level and became more grateful of what Jesus has done for their salvation. On the second and last day of the retreat, each delegate was asked to pick a “new” name. Such names include “Warrior,” “Conqueror,” “Compassionate,” and "Preacher.” This was done because as each delegate encounters God, they become a new creation. Therefore, this “new” name is what each delegate will from now on profess. The commissioning was then led by Ptr. George Dela Rosa, where the Holy Spirit fully had His way in the hearts and soul of the delegates. There was emotional and spiritual healing, restoration of relationships, and deliverance from repeated attacks of the enemy all because of the mighty name of Jesus! As the delegates and the EGR committee returned to the city, they were welcomed by our brothers and sisters in faith at the JIL Church Regina sanctuary. It was a cause for celebration! Our brothers and sisters then got a chance to hear the EGR delegates’ testimonies. How God fully exceeded their expectations of this retreat and renewed their hearts and minds. They are now ready for the greater things to come! All glory is endlessly Yours! “..that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” The 2nd annual Leadership Empowerment and Advancement Program (LEAP) was a two-day summit held on May 31st at the JIL Church Regina sanctuary and on June 1st at the Travelodge Hotel. Both workers and leaders from JIL Regina and JIL Saskatoon were in attendance. We were blessed to have several WCR pastors and leaders as guest speakers as well as provide support for the event. These pastors include Ptr. Jake Esperanza of JIL Saskatoon, Ptr. George Dela Rosa of JIL Winnipeg, Ptr. Pol Narido of JIL Edmonton, as well as Ptr. Alberto Nuguid, Sis. Gi Emas, Ptr. Rannie Adela, and Ptr. Amor Adela of JIL British Columbia.
