The Outstanding Manifestation of The Holy Spirit at JIL BC Worship Symposium
The Atmosphere of Worship. Pastor Jovi Villanueva-Binalla as the speaker in this session stated that, “An atmosphere can make or break the worship” which leads me to the realization that it is true because I witnessed and experienced it during the symposium. Each worshipper is hungry to give their worship to the Lord, that they are hungry on the moving of the Holy Spirit that is why when we began worshipping Him through singing the feeling that I had is really astounding. You can feel the expectation in each and every one. Expectation that our worship will touch the heart of the Mighty King, Jesus. Ptr. Jovi also quoted, “The atmosphere of expectation is the breading ground for miracle.” That is why I believe we should not let different factors around us affect the atmosphere of our worship. She also quoted what Bro. Sam Binalla once said, “Familiarity kills anointing.” When we just get used to it, when worshiping is just a routine, when it’s just for the sake of so-called “worshipping”, we should not allow this to happen because worshiping is not just about singing, it’s not just performing or crying while we sing. It’s about the pureness of our heart, the preparedness of our soul and the willingness to offer our service to our one true King. To sum up the message of this session – “Be holy for the atmosphere of worship is not for us but FOR GOD.”
At this point, I want to remind us that we are called to worship our one true King, Jesus. Our worship is to glorify God. Our worship to God is very important. Our worship is the bridge connecting us to the heart of our Lord. May the Holy Spirit fill us more even after the symposium, may the fire continue to ablaze in our hearts and may the willingness to worship Him in spirit and in truth be with us until the second coming of the Lord. May we have the courage to share to the people the desire to worship in spirit and in truth. I would say, Worship for a cause not for applause. Live life to express and not to impress. Don’t strive to make your presence noticed, just make His presence felt. Touch no Glory.
