Great Outpouring Of God's Wonders

As the year 2014 come to close, many of the JIL intercessors and workers gathered in a Prayer and Fasting for 3 days to thank God for His goodness and to seek His direction for the coming year. In which this title, “Great Outpouring of God’s Wonders,” is derived.

Let me share to you what we expect and believe this 2015 as recipient of His goodness and blessings.

Like many who seek some guidance and a sense of the future, we choose to seek Him according to His word. He said “We will find Him when we seek Him with all our heart (Jeremiah 29:13). Let us remember Jeremiah 29:11 where He implied that His plan for us is a good future.

Now this is not a kind of fortune telling but a certainty that God is in constant interest for the good of His people and certain of their future.

It is important that each of us knows that our God cares and is definite in establishing one’s life to a secured future to those who place their trust in Him.

Life is too short to be misspent but sufficient as we fulfill His will, His way and His time.

Once we know His plan for us we will learn to be more careful in our decisions and watchful in our plans and in every opportunity that comes our way. It will give us determination to do and obey His word and be inspired to live according to His will and share to others the love of God that leads us to the center of His perfect will.

I believe none of us will not agree on the truth that God is the best companion in this journey we call “life”. Better to spend this life entrusting it in Him than in luck or in chance. He is a sure foundation, an available help in times of need.

Here are some biblical truths that can make His wonders manifest to one’s life:

1. Faith –  "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6). Faith is a virtue which is freely given to us and placed upon our responsibility to make it grow and useful. Faith is installed by God to each one (Romans 12:3) and made it grow as we meditate His Word (Romans 10:17).
2. Prayer – “You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” (John 14:14). “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3). God is offering each one an opportunity to experience His wonders and His ability to meet all our needs. He is willing and able, only if we invite Him to make things His way on us by prayers. This is one of the missing links many have failed to recognize. Though some prays but in unauthorized name. He said ask in Jesus’ Name (John 14:14). So why take chance if we can call, if we can pray to Him who has the ability and the power to do wonders in our lives?
3. Greater Purpose – “And whatever you do,  in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17). When we live and seek good things for bigger and greater reason than for our selves, like for His glory and for the good of others, then there is more reason to be inspired to believe for more and aspire for greater things this world can give. God is just looking for someone to whom He can manifest His power, His love and His blessings. (1 Chronicles 16:9).


Here is the conclusion of the matter: Life can be  difficult this year, but when we allow God by His word to come in and lead us, His Wonders can be greater than what we see as problems. We will be overwhelmed by the great outpouring of God’s wonders in our lives.

Be blessed as you walk this life under God’s guidance in which we can surely hold on to.
