​Life has become even more demanding in our present day, hasn't it?

According to the China Youth Daily, 600,000 Chinese die each year from working too hard—or about 1,600 a day as reported by the China Radio International. Causes of such death were said to include heart attack and stroke due to stress.

If not taken into concern, the same might just happen to any other country. In Canada, a staggering 89% reported feeling overworked according to a global research firm, Towers Watson.

Hard work is no nonsense. But it becomes nonsensical if you work yourself too hard for a living… only to compromise your life in the end. You see, life is not just about striving for something and being successful, or about working and earning. Life, in all its worth, is more than just that.

It is also about taking a time off. Jesus cared to remind His disciples of this in the midst of their busyness--

“Come with Me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” (Mark 6:31b)

Jesus knew that it is no good for man to work himself to exhaustion. That every one of us needs rest. That if we work too long without it, we’d all be physically and emotionally drained.
 

1. So stop. To rest. Don’t wait until your body tells you to. Do yourself a favor by taking a simple nap, an extra hour of sleep, a day off, or, from time to time, an escapade.
2. Stop. To relate. Don’t get too lost in your busy world that you forget to connect with your loved ones. They also need your love and affection--not just your provision. And, believe me, you need them, too—to keep you grounded in this busy world. 
3. Stop. To reflect. In your pursuit of the many things you dream of in life, you could lose yourself in the middle of your chase. Don't lose yourself in the process of living. Have time to reflect back on your purpose in life, your values, your motivations, your beliefs.
4. Stop. To rest in AND with God. Leave all your worries to the God who cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). You can only find true rest if you let go of the things you so worry about. And just like with His disciples, He also wants you to rest with Him. 

The rest He offers is the kind that will renew you of strength, refill you with joy—not just for a day, but for as long as you let Him.

So take His invitation, and rest. You’ll be glad you did.
 
“…for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.” (Hebrews 4:10-11)

​February, as we all know, is one of the most costly affairs in every year. A marketplace for digital offers (RetailMeNot.ca) recently conducted a survey of Canadians’ consumer spending for this month and it revealed that 80% of Canadians agree that people overspend on Heart’s Day—with an average spending of $164 on gifts and celebrations.

Perhaps this reflects that aside from the love we can give our loved ones, we want our love for them to be tangible… to be felt. We want to showcase our love by giving gifts… gifts with high price tags.
 
But there is one Lover who has provided the greatest gift of all, a gift that Canadian dollars, or any other currency for that matter, can never buy. A gift of supreme value that it is actually invaluable: God’s salvation for ALL humankind. Why? Because it was paid with His own Son, Jesus Christ, through His blood, at the Cross, with a crown of thorns, three nails and countless whips and lashes.
 
He bore the cross on His back when it was our burden to bear. He took the nails in His hands and feet when it was our pain to take. It should have been us. It should have been our punishment. Because it was us who sinned, us who disobeyed. NOT Him. But He let His own blood flow on that cross, so that through it we could be forgiven and cleansed… so that through Him we could have life.
 
Yes, He died on the place that should have been ours to take—the cross of Calvary. And, yes, He did all those out of love—pure love—for you and me. No one in all of humanity could do this. Only Jesus Christ. We did nothing for Him to die for us yet He still did, expecting nothing of the same value in return.
 
What a great love, and what an extravagant gift! A gift that cannot be bought by any currency… a gift beyond the sum of all the things this world has to offer… a gift that is PRICELESS.

​“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”
(1 John 4:9-10)

We are again in that time of the year when streets are lighted and houses are decorated, when foes become friends and families become closer, and when the night is colder but people’s hearts are warmer.
But above all, Christmas is the time of the year when we remember how the Almighty God gave His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, sent Him from heaven to earth, that we sinners might have life.
What does this mean for us?

​First, He redeems us from our life in the past. Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We all have our own record of wrongs—we could have caused our parents a great deal of headache, we could have greatly contributed to our country’s problems and, in all these, we have grieved the very heart of the Living God. But however dark our past may be and no matter how big our sins may be, God’s love is brighter and His forgiveness, vaster. Because of this, all of our sins are now atoned for by the blood of Jesus Christ. We are a new creation, the old is gone, the new has come!

Second, He assures us of our life in the now. God does not only take away our sin and shame, He also gives us the best life we can have here on earth. Through Jesus Christ, we now have a life of blessings, strength, joy, peace, and hope. So, if you ever feel lonely and homesick, or if you are worrying about Noche Buena and exchange gifts, do not hesitate to come before God, because it was He who first drew near us, one fateful night in Bethlehem. Our assurance lies in this promise: “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)

Third, He promises us life in the hereafter.  This is the bottom line of the Christmas event: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Jesus came from heaven to earth to make a way between us, vile men, and the Holy Father—that we may enjoy blissful and eternal communion with God in His kingdom in heaven, where there will be no more death nor mourning nor crying nor pain. What a great life awaits us, simply because we received Jesus Christ, the reason for this season, in our lives.
​
Therefore, with Jesus, our past, present and future are all secure—which makes not only Christmas, but every day of our lives, wonderful. So let us not allow for Christmas to just pass by. Let us celebrate it, along with the full life we have received through the rich love, grace, and mercy of our ever Living God.

Whips and lashes… a crown of thorns and a robe of disgrace… three nails and a cross… death. All these can be summed up in just six letters: D-E-F-E-A-T.
 
Defeat. But a defeat that stands as the rock on which all our victories are anchored: victory over sin… victory over sickness… victory over sorrow... victory over emptiness.
 
Because those whips and lashes were for our healing… that crown of thorns and that robe of disgrace were for our acceptance… that cross was for our forgiveness… and that death was for our life.
 
Therefore, in every life battle we are facing right now, we are actually not fighting for victory. We are fighting from victory—Jesus’ victory.  
 
That past that haunts your confidence? He says, Tetelestai. That sin that bogs your conscience? He says, Tetelestai. That sickness that debilitated your body? He says, Tetelestai. That conflict that destroys your family? He says, Tetelestai.
 

IT IS FINISHED.
 
That is what God told me during my family’s fight against land-grabbing syndicates. That is what God told me when our gas tank became empty and we had no money to buy a new one. That is what God told me when a man threw a grenade at our house in Bulacan. In every life battle, I hear God say, “It is finished.”
 
This is the very reason why, from the beginning up to the present, I have never wavered from shouting, never ceased from believing, “Jesus IS Lord!” And this will be my constant cry, until the very last ebb of my life.
 
May this, too, be your cry.

 “According to a book entitled “Experiencing God” by Blackaby and King, “God speaks to you by the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself, His purposes, and His ways.  Perhaps the questions people ask most about God’s speaking are: 

• How does God speak to me?
  
• How can I know when God is speaking?  
  
• How can God be more real and personal to me?”
  
  

God speaks uniquely to individuals, and He can do it in any way He pleases.  As you walk in an intimate love relationship with God, you will come to recognize His voice.  You will know when God is speaking to you.

Jesus compared the relationship He has with His followers to the relationship a shepherd has with his sheep.  He said, “The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep...The sheep listen to his voice...His sheep follow him because they know his voice” (John 10:2-4). In this way, when God speaks to you, you will recognize His voice and follow Him.

God speaks through a variety of means.  In the present God primarily speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church.  These four means are difficult to separate.  God uses prayer and the Bible together. Often circumstances and the church, or other believers, will help confirm what God is saying to you.  Frequently, God uses circumstances and the church to help you know His timing. 

God is sovereign.  He can do whatever He chooses to do.  With the Scripture as our guide, we know God can speak in unique ways to individuals.  His people will hear and recognize His voice.  In the present time, He primarily speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church.

The Bible is God’s Word.  It describes God’s complete revelation of Himself to humanity.  God speaks to you through the Bible.  A person cannot understand spiritual truth unless the Spirit of God reveals it.  The Holy Spirit is “the Spirit of truth” (John 14:17). When the Holy Spirit reveals a spiritual truth from the Word of God, He is personally relating to your life.  That is an encounter with God. The sequence is this:

• You read the Word of God-the Bible
  
• The Spirit of Truth takes the Word of God and reveals truth
  
• You adjust your life to the truth of God
  
• You obey Him
  
• God works in and through you to accomplish His purposes
  

 
The Spirit uses the Word of God to reveal God and His purposes.  The Spirit uses the Word of God to instruct us in the ways of God.  On our own we cannot understand the truths of God. Unaided by the Spirit of God, it will be foolishness to us. “The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand then, because they are spiritually discerned.  The spiritual man makes judgments about all things” (I Corinthians 2:14-15). Aided by the Spirit, we can understand all things.

Understanding spiritual truth does not lead you to an encounter with God, it is the encounter with God. You cannot understand the purposes and ways of God, unless the Spirit of God teaches you.

Remember that God speaks uniquely to individuals, and He can do it in any way He pleases; second, when God speaks to you, recognize His voice and follow Him; third, you cannot understand spiritual truth unless the Spirit of God reveals it; and lastly, He is more interested in what you become than what you do.

What does it mean to "walk with God"? It means several things. First, that the prevailing power of enmity in a person's heart has been taken away by the blessed Spirit of God. Secondly, that the person has actually been reconciled to God the Father. Thirdly, that the person has an abiding communion and fellowship with God-what in Scripture is called "the Holy Ghost dwelling in us." Finally, walking with God implies our making progress in the divine life. Walking requires a progressive motion. But how does a Christian maintain such a walk with God?

Step One: Read the Scriptures
To begin with, believers maintain their walk with God by reading his Holy Word. "Search the Scriptures," says our blessed Lord, "for these are they that testify of me" (John 5:39). And the royal Psalmist tells us that God's Word was a "light unto his feet, and a lantern unto his paths" (Ps. 119:105). He makes it one characteristic of a good man that "his delight is in the law of the Lord, and that he exercises himself therein day and night" (Ps. 1:2). "Give thyself to reading," says Paul to Timothy (I Tim. 4:13). "And this book of the law," says God to Joshua, "shall not go out of thy mouth" (Josh. 1:8). For "whatsoever was written a foretime, was written for our learning" (Rom. 15:4). And the word of God is "profitable for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, and every way sufficient to make every true child of God thoroughly furnished unto every good work" (2 Tim. 3:16).

Step Two: Personal Prayer
Secondly, believers keep up their walk with God by private, personal prayer. The spirit of grace is always accompanied with the spirit of supplication. It is the very breath of the new creature, the fan of the divine life. By it, the spark of holy fire, kindled in the soul by God, is not only kept in, but raised into a flame. Neglect of private prayer has been frequently an inlet to many spiritual diseases, and has been attended with fatal consequences. Prayer is one of the most noble parts of the believer's spiritual armor. "Praying always," says the apostle, "with all manner of supplication" (Eph. 6:18).

Step Three: Meditation
Holy and frequent meditation is another blessed means of keeping up a believer's walk with God. "Prayer, reading, and meditation," says Luther, "makes a minister." And they also make and perfect a Christian. Meditation is to the soul what digestion is to the body. David found it so, and therefore he was frequently employed in meditation, even in the night season. We read also of Isaac's going out into the fields to meditate in the evening; or, as it is in the margin, to pray. For meditation is a kind of silent prayer, whereby the soul is frequently (so to speak) carried out of itself to God. Through meditation, the soul is, in a degree, made like unto those blessed Spirits, who by a kind of intuition always behold the face of our heavenly Father.

Step Four: Noting God's Providence
Believers keep up their walk with God also by watching and noting His providential dealings with them. If we believe the Scriptures, we must believe what our Lord hath declared therein, "that the very hairs of his disciples' heads are numbered; and that a sparrow does not fall to the ground, (either to pick up a grain of corn, or when shot by a fowler,) without the knowledge of our heavenly Father" (Matt. 10:29).

Step Five: Seek the Guidance of the Spirit
In order to walk closely with God, his children must not only watch the motions of God's providence around them, but they must also take note of the moving of his blessed Spirit within their hearts. "As many as are the sons of God, are led by the Spirit of God" (Rom. 8: 14). They give up themselves to be guided by the Holy Ghost, just as a little child gives its hand to be led by a nurse or parent.

Step Six: Obedience
Those who would maintain a holy walk with God must walk with him in His commandments as well as in His providences. It is recorded of Zacharias and Elizabeth, that "they walked in all God's ordinance, as well as commandments, blameless" (Luke 1:6). And all rightly informed Christians will look upon commandments, not as beggarly elements, but as so many conduit-pipes by which the infinitely condescending Jehovah conveys his grace to their souls. They will look upon them as children's bread, and as their highest privileges.

Step Seven: Godly Association
Finally, if you would walk with God, you will associate and keep company with others who walk with Him. "My delight," says David, "is in them that do excel in virtue" (Ps. 16:3). They were, in his sight, the excellent ones of the earth. And the primitive Christians, no doubt, kept up their vigor and first love by continuing in fellowship one with another. The apostle Paul knew this full well, and therefore exhorts the Christians to see to it that they did not forsake the assembling of themselves together (Heb. 10:25).

"And Enoch walked with God" (Gen. 5:24). If those same words can truly be said of you and me after our deaths, we shall have no reason to ever think that we have lived in vain.

The coming of the month of July reminds us that we are halfway through the year, which means two things. One, that we have stood through six months of blessings, favors and, also, challenges and sacrifices. Two, that we are to go through six more! Because of this, it is necessary for us to be refreshed. 

While the fast-paced world tells us to “Work! Work! Work!” the Lord Jesus Christ tells us to: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Because accomplishing more does not always mean doing more. Sometimes, we just need to rest. And the best place we can do this is in the mighty arms of our Jesus—

He invites us to come. We expect a holy and omnipotent God to be unapproachable, if not dreadful. But our God—the only true God—is both powerful to overcome and loving to embrace. Notice that it is He who initiates the encounter: “Come!” As if to say, “Don’t hesitate. I am here. I am near.”

He invites us to come—all of us. By “all,” He means rich or poor, tall or short, male or female, good or bad. For as long as we are weary and burdened, for as long as we need Him, we may come and avail of His invitation. No exceptions whatsoever. Because when it comes to His promises, God neither favors nor excludes a particular group of people.

He invites us to come to His rest. His words are clear: “I will give you rest.” But this rest is more than just sleep. It means restoration and rejuvenation of the body, mind, heart and, most importantly, soul: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10b)

An offer as wonderful as this must be expensive and yet, the invitation He is giving us is free. No need to pay any amount or donation. All we need to do is to simply come, with faith. Because the nail-pierced hands that will embrace us have already paid the price. So do not hesitate. Allow yourself to rest in His arms.

“Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see.  It was their faith that made our ancestors pleasing to God. Because of our faith, we know that the world was made at God's command. We also know that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen. But without faith no one can please God. We must believe that God is real and that He rewards everyone who searches for Him.” Heb. 11:1-3 &6

Faith in the context of this foundational truth can be defined as “having trust, assurance or confidence in another person and that person’s word”.  Having faith in God involves an exchange of trust from self to Him.

How Does Faith Towards God Develop?

First, we need to have the right attitudes of mind.  Faith is a persuasion.  The word “faith” comes from the Greek word “pistis” which means “firm persuasion; strong and welcome belief; the conviction of the truth of anything”. We need to realize the futility of everything without God.  Faith involves an attitude of humility and submission to the will of God and we need to confess this attitude.

Second, faith develops through our knowledge of God.  You cannot trust anyone you do not know.  The more we know God and His faithfulness, His love, His character, His ways, His greatness, etc., the more we will be able to trust Him. This is a basis for true faith towards God.  We get to know God as the Holy Spirit gives us revelation of Him through the Scriptures, and through direct revelation to us that is in line with the Scriptures.  This is reinforced through life’s experiences as we by faith, prove God.  We cannot really get to know anyone unless we speak to them.  Prayer, therefore, is a wonderful means of getting to know God.  Prayer always manifests two things: firstly, a heart desire that all we do is in the will of God, and second, a confession of our total dependence on Him.  Remember, God’s faithfulness is great, unfailing and eternal.  We need to commit ourselves to His faithfulness, and we need to magnify His faithfulness.

Third, faith is a response to hearing.  God communicates His thoughts through His Word.  When He enables us to hear what He is saying to us by the Spirit, this would create within us the response of believing or being persuaded that what He is saying is indeed true and is for us.  “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17).  As we confess the word of faith given to us and stand upon it and, when appropriate, act on it, we will find the creative power of God working in and through that word to bring to pass what has been promised.  Jesus tells us that by faith nothing shall be impossible to us. (Matthew 17:20).  Having faith involves an exchange from only relying on one source of knowledge, i.e. sense knowledge (which we need), to relying on higher source of knowledge, i.e. revelation knowledge.

“Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title-deed) of the things (we) hope for, being the proof of things (we) do not see and the conviction of their reality-faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.” (Hebrews 11:1).

Fourth, faith comes by experiencing God and His faithfulness.  The more we have faith towards God, the more we experience of His faithfulness and the more our faith growths.  God has also given us the gifts of healing and miracles etc., which should point us to Him and increase our faith.

Lastly, faith grows as we remember past faithfulness. Faith is not a mental attitude towards problems.  It is the very nature of God.  God is a faith God; He created the universe by faith.  The person who is born again by the Spirit of God has received the potential of the nature of God.  The old nature of every man is dominated by negative forces such as fear, doubt, confusion and error, but the new nature is God’s nature which is creative, bringing order out of chaos (Genesis 1:2), life out of death, health out of sickness, prosperity out of poverty, truth out of error, and righteousness out of sin.  Faith is this new nature expressed (Romans 1:17).

Always bear in mind that faith towards God is the lifestyle of the disciples of Jesus.

The Lord says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies. Your troops will be willing on the day of your battle. Arrayed in Holy majesty, from the womb of the dawn you will receive the dew of your youth. The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind; “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”
(Psalm 110:1-4)

In Psalm 110:1-4, David painted a picture of Christ reigning as King and Priest together with His believing people. Every detail of the scene is significant and merits our careful attention. The inspired language and imagery David uses must be interpreted by reference to other related passages of the Scripture.

In the first verse, we have the revelation of Christ as King, enthroned at the Father's right hand: "The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool" (KJV). No other verse of the Old Testament is quoted more often in the New Testament than this. In three of the gospels, Jesus quoted the words of David and applied them to Himself.

In verse 4 of Psalm 110, David's picture is completed by the revelation of Christ as priest: "The Lord sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.. The whole teaching of the epistle to the Hebrews con-cerning Christ's high priesthood is based on this verse of Psalm 110. The writer of Hebrews stressed that in Melchizedek there was the union of the two functions of kingship and priesthood. Melchizedek was "priest of the Most High God." In addition, he was, by the very meaning of his name, "King of Righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of Peace" (Hebrews 7:1-2).

Such is the double ministry that Christ now exercises at the Father's right hand. As king, He rules. As Priest, He intercedes: "He liveth to make intercession."

Here we play our part in the double ministry of Christ. as kings, we rule with Him. As priests, we share His ministry of prayer and intercession. We must never seek to separate these two functions from each other. If we could rule as kings, we must serve as priests. The practice of our priestly ministry is the key to the service of our kingly authority. It is through prayer and intercession that we administer the authority that is ours in the name of Jesus.

How wonderfully David's picture illustrates the church's ministry of prayer. In the world, the forces of evil are rampant on every hand, rejecting the authority of Christ and opposing the work of His kingdom. But "in the midst" (Psalm 110:2), the Christians assemble in the divine order as kings and priests. Out of their assembly, the rod of Christ’s authority, exercised in His name, is sent forth through their prayers. In every direction that the rod is extended, the forces of evil are compelled to yield, and Christ in turn is exalted and His kingdom advanced.

All Christians look forward to the day when Christ's enemies are finally and completely subdued, and He will be openly manifested and universally acknowledged as King. The Bible promises that that day will come. But we must not let the promised glory of the future blind us to the reality of Christ's present position at God's right hand. Christ rules even now "in the midst of His enemies" ( v.2), and we rule with Him.

It is our responsibility to exercise the authority that is ours through His name, and in face of all the forces of evil to demonstrate that Christ is already "Lord of lords, and King of kings" (Revelations 17:14).

The greatest event that the Christendom has been celebrating annually since it occurred more than 2,000 years ago is the resurrection of Jesus Christ who is the foundation of Christian Faith. 

And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: (Eph 1:19-21)

The greatest event that the Christendom has been celebrating annually since it occurred more than 2,000 years ago is the resurrection of Jesus Christ who is the foundation of Christian Faith.

Everyone celebrate it for different reasons and purpose, but let me share to you what many in Christian faith appreciate as the power of His resurrection. Here it is: This power is only for those who believe.

1. The declaration, “Jesus Is Lord”.
Philippians 2:8-11 – And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

“His resurrection is our greatest proof that He is as He said He is. The Lamb of God who came to save us from our sins. The Son of God who became man so that we may become children of God”

2. The price paid by those who believed-It must worth it!
Galatians 2:20 – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

1 Corinthians 15:58 – Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

“Christian faith has sacrificed many lives, blood and resources. But all those things are worth it, for our Savior and Master LIVES! Whatever we lost in serving Christ has been fully paid for and properly rewarded both here and there.”

3. An assurance of answer to prayer.
John 14:13 – 14 – And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

“Because of His raised from the dead he is able to bring all what it require for me to have all what we need”-Rom 8:32

• Peace with God – Hebrews 9:27
• New Life – 2 Corinthians 5:17
• Eternal life – 1 John 5:11-12
• Prosperity – 2 Corinthians 8:9
• Health – 1 Peter 2:24
• Blessings – John 10:10b
• Healings – 1 Peter 2:24

4. Preaching the Gospel to all.
Matthew 28:18 – 20 – And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

His resurrection ushered the call to return back to God, regardless of race and status in life where His faithful respond by giving everything they have to proclaim the good news to all people.

5. The abiding presence of the Holy Spirit.
John 16:7 – 16 – Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

The Holy Spirit who dwells in us is made possible by His resurrection. The seal of our salvation, the power that brings us to our closeness to God!

There are much more to tell but may this suffice to encourage everyone that Jesus Christ’s Resurrection is the foundation of our Faith!
