Pastor Romy Cusay

Born in Milan, Jamindan, Capiz, Philippines on November 17, 1963. He is the youngest of nine children with five brothers and four sisters born to Alfredo Eustaque Cusay and Magdalena Orocio Cusay.

He attended Jamindan National High School in 1980 with an award of outstanding Adjutant Cadet Officer in CAT. He attended Feati University, Manila, Philippines on October 1986 with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

After graduation, he worked in National Power Corporation in Pangasinan from being a casual laborer to Field Engineer from 1989 to 1998.

On January 1999, he became an Assistant Pastor of Jesus Is Lord Church Urdaneta and as a Town Pastor of Jesus Is Lord Church in Asingan, Pangasinan, Philippines from July 1999 to August 2001.

During his involvement in JIL Church in Araullo High School, he became a volunteer worker serving in the Follow-up Ministry, YPAC(Young Professional Adult Church), and in Jesus Is Lord Church San Juan, Manila as well.

He was married to Vilma Manlangit Oben on October 2000 and immigrated to Canada on September 08, 2001.

From January 2002 to January 2003, he served as the Youth Coordinator and the Cell Group Coordinator with preaching responsibilities in JIL Calgary, Alberta.

After working as a Machine Operator, he accepted the challenge to become the Church Pastor of Jesus Is Lord Church Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on June 2004. 

He and his wife were blessed with a healthy boy named Jeruel Cristopher and lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan serving as the Church Pastor of JIL Saskatoon.
