HISTORY OF JIL TORONTO 2 CHURCH   The birth of JIL Toronto 2nd Service Church can be counted as one of the glorious fulfillment of JIL MVV.  Truly, God is awesome, faithful & covenant keeping God. He fulfilled all of His promises and not one of them failed.  Jesus Christ declared & proclaimed in John 12:33, “But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.”   The 2nd JIL Toronto congregation started last June 2007 as a direct result of the newly opened 7:00 – 9:00 am service with a new JIL Toronto congregation as well. The growth was evident and needed to be accommodated. Thus, four congregations in one facility were in existence. The whole JIL Toronto Church combined was ready to take the challenges as they come and was more than willing to avail themselves of any opportunity for growth. Presently, the 2nd service church has 35 cell groups, with 85 workers & trainees and Sunday attendance ranging from 260–290 under the shepherding care of Ptr. Imelda Cari.  God is so gracious that He used the most ordinary people to lead people to Himself in order that they might have life.  The great commission was given to every believer and we take heed of it, “… making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:16, snatching every single person from the lake of fire.  Let us then put our glorious assurance that He is the one who called us and no matter what happens, as Paul said “…to live is Christ and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).    To God be all the glory for what He has done in the JIL Toronto 2nd service church.
