Pastor Bong Gonzales “I, wisdom dwell with prudence, I possess knowledge and discretion” - Prov 8:12 "Don't go through life, grow through life." -Eric Butterworth "The trick is growing up without growing old." -Casey Stengel As I sit to listen to some men gathered for a time of unwinding, one of them seem to be complaining about a certain misunderstanding with his old. Then, the other guy said “Grow up man!”
This sink into my mind thinking, “Yes, why not grow up?”There would be so many of us who needs this phrase: “Grow Up”. It’s a kind of expression that simply implies an adult response to any given situation. When you have problem, “grow up”- go and solve, understanding that all problems has solution, all situation can be managed. When someone ridicules or insults you, “grow up”- do not wine nor retaliate with your own insult and words of curses. A soft answer cools down anger. When you feel betrayed, abandoned or forsaken- “grow up”- find that inner strength, pray and move on. Accept that all things happen for our good. When you find your self in everything but good, right and bright, “grow up”- learn from mistake, unlearn what is wrong and be a better person. When you find better things and everything you do seems to prosper “grow up”- enjoy your moment, share the joy and save something because this passing in life does not stay long, but it could make a lasting good to you and those you love. When life seem to be almost spent, “grow up”- do just what is important to you, spend time with those you value, find those you consider deserving of everything you have.“ Life and living is not a matter of how much or how long. Its value depends on how we ‘grow up’ as we pass by this important component of life called ‘Time’”. So, while we can, “grow up”- Jam In Life and make it good.
