THE JIL12 LADDER OF SUCCESS

What is “The Ladder of Success”?

The “Ladder of Success” is the fundamental building blocks within the JIL12 that will disciple an individual from their new birth in Christ, all the way in the maturing process until that individual is himself a leader of leaders.

The Ladder of Success is simply the basic steps in the process of JIL12 in winning a person to the Lord and taking them on to fruitfulness through personal ministry and teaching.

It is called the "Ladder" because there is a sequence and each step is important. One is not without the other and if one is left out the goal of making disciples of the nations will not happen.

Through the JIL12 we can accomplish the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Great Commission implies four things: going to evangelize, making disciples, teaching them and reaching out to all nations. These steps can be further broken down into four stages of the JIL12 which is called “The Ladder of Success.” To be successful in fulfilling every part of the Great Commission you must: Win, Consolidate, Disciple and Send.

The Four Steps in the Ladder of Success are:

                                                                       1. WIN
                                                                       2. CONSOLIDATE
                                                                       3. DISCIPLE
                                                                       4. SEND

WIN:

Matthew 28:19 -  “GO into all the world . . and make disciples . . .”

This concept is the soul-winning engine of the principle of twelve.

The first step on the Ladder of Success is to catch the passion and vision of winning multitudes of lost people to Christ.

CONSOLIDATE:

This aspect of the JIL12 involves the stewardship of the harvest of souls won to the Lord.

In this stage, the new believer is cared and prayed for, visited, ministered to and encouraged to participate in a cell group, the local church, and in an Encounter.

What Is Consolidation?

1.     Consolidation begins when evangelism ends.

2.     Consolidation is the care and attention given to the new believer to reproduce or form in him the character of Christ (Galatians 4:19) until there is permanent fruit for the Lord. (I Thessalonians 2:7)

3.     Consolidation is the careful attention given to bring wholeness and health to the life of the new believer.

4.     The purpose of consolidation is to keep every person that God has placed in our hands (I Peter 5:2). Both new believers and new church members are "plugged in" to the church through the relationships nurtured in the cell groups.

DISCIPLE:

Matthew 28:19 - “Go therefore and MAKE DISCIPLES of all the nations.”

Purpose of the DISCIPLESHIP Process:

1.   To bring a new believer to a new level of commitment to prepare them to serve as faithful leaders in the church.

2.   To form character in the life of a new believer through teaching and discipline.

3.    To prepare efficient cell leaders with the ability to win lives for Christ who can continue to disciple new believers until they become successful leaders.

SEND:

Acts 6:7 -  “And the number of te disciples multiplied greatly.”

Sending is the releasing of leaders that shows how well a cell leader has done his / her job.

The last step of the Ladder of Success is the exciting step of laying hands on faithful men and women and releasing them as examples of mature Christians that have proved themselves and are now ready to mentor others.

In the final part of the process, the new converts are now ready and encouraged to open their own cells.
