An Encounter Retreat is a divine appointment with God, meeting Him personally, face-to-face. It is exciting, refreshing,
and liberating weekend!
Whether you are a new believer or a mature Christian seeking for more intimacy with God,
the Encounter Retreat is a great investment in your relationship with God. This special time has often been described as a
"radical change in 48 hours", and that is truly what it is!
Who Can Attend?
Only those who
have completed the Pre-Encounter course and have registered for the Encounter are allowed to attend.
Each Encounter
is led by an Encounter Team composed of JIL Pastors and Leaders.
Where Do We Hold the Encounter Retreat?
Encounters are held at a location away from the church. We have found that there is something about an unfamiliar environment
that is conducive to the moving of the Spirit of God.
What is the schedule
for the Encounter?
Encounter Retreat is a two-day event, which begins in a Saturday morning and ends on a Sunday
evening, time of uninterrupted ministry.
What is the Cost of the Encounter?
The cost of the Encounter
is whatever amount is needed to cover food and lodging expenses throughout the Retreat. The Church subsidizes all other expenses,
like printing of manuals and other expenses related to the Encounter.
What Do I Need To Do To Experience
An Encounter?
1. Pray 2.
Fast 3. Must have strong desire to be set free 4.
Have faith! And expect to Encounter God.
